This was one of my first major notebooks I started near the beginning
of high school. I wanted to start a "diary" but thought writing down
everyday details would be boring. I was never good at drawing so I used
acrylic paints and pictures I found for filling the pages. These two
pages were done with purple acrylic paint and pictures taken from an
art book I found at a thrift store. The writing is just sentences
grouped together that would probably only make sense in my mind.
After I finished that notebook I moved on to just regular lined
composite books to write down everything and anything. Since I am a
huge over analzyer this has helped me in making sense of many different
events. My collection of notebooks has grown to over 75 in just a few
short years. Currently I am obsessed with writing everything down in my
moleskine and will never stray from it. It comes with me wherever I go
so I can record every little thought (it is kind of neurotic but it
keeps me sane).
