Bound in ‘soft touch suede effect material’ (moleskin, perhaps?) in either black or beige, it’s certainly a sophisticated-looking book. The cover material is very pleasant to the touch, how it will stand up to months of bouncing around in a bag I have no idea, but I’ll soon find out once it’s travelled with me a few times.
All the features you’d expect from a notebook of this style are present and correct - ribbon page marker, elastic closure and pockets. Except this book has a little pocket at the front too. Handy for keeping a few Moo» cards in, in case of emergency need for self-promotion. The pocket at the back is nice and roomy, perfect for stashing away a few index cards, and maybe a bit of money in case that coffee bar insists you either buy more espresso, or leave.
