From Joyce: "saw these at target basically a shorthand pad, but the bottom board is
longer and has 2 elastics one for the notebook cover, and one to hold
the pen. kinda clever. "
Some of my favorite notebooks of all time came from Target. Back in the mid-90's they created an unnamed line with thick, leather-like covers in tweedy gray. The cream colored paper was lightly lined (at a perfect line width) in soft brown and spiral bound in black wire. I bought every one I could find, and for 10 years they were my journaling choice. I filled the last one just 18 months ago. Wish I could find them back!
I got the one on the left just to jot things down that I want to remember when I'm at the computer. It's really cute and caught my eye. It was pretty cheap but I'm not using it as a journal or anything.
Nice find!

That binding doesn't look durable. One drop and you'll have a hard to flip through notebook.
