+ about awagami factory:
for nearly 200 years, the fujimori family has faithfully kept alive the tradition of “awa washi” japanese papermaking. awagami washi was first commercialized by chiyozo fujimori and later passed on to his grandson, 6th generation master papermaker minoru fujimori. In 1970, minoru and awagami factory were designated as an intangible cultural property of tokushima prefecture and today awagami is led by 7th generation, yoichi fujimori and his family.
