"When Biella made its first binders in 1908, the notebook and stationery maker helped Switzerland's federal authorities put order in their files. At that time, the distinctive binder already featured the Swiss cross on the back, became synonymous with order, and came to be known in popular parlance as "Classeur fédéral" or "Bundesordner". A legend was born."
