Note Booker, Esq.

My new notebooks are stacking up much faster than I can possibly use them . . . but that's not so bad!

Kevin Olmstead

I wear one thing at work, and another thing at home. when I make the transition from work to home (or the other way 'round), I can never seem to remember my notebook. often there are things I write at work that I want to remember when I get home, and I don't want two notebooks. How do YOU get in the habit of always having your favorite notebook in hand?

Note Booker, Esq.

Kevin,

I'm new to notebooks, and the way I get around worrying about this transition is to use two, but not divided between work and home. Instead, I have (at the moment, anyway) one hard bound notebook (an extra large lined Piccadilly) that I use at work and take with me away from work only when I know I will need to take notes or that I need some information in it).

I ALWAYS carry a lined pocket Moleskine Cahier in my pocket and a Fischer Trekker Space Pen on a lanyard around my neck. When I don't have my hard bound notebook, I can jot a quick note in the Cahier and transfer the information later. When I get home, the Cahier and Trekker go on the nightstand with my wallet and keys, so I very rarely forget them on the way out of the house.

Question: I have started putting pictures in my Moleskine (Large) Notebook to accommodate my new passion of writing something and attaching pictures to it.

OK, so my question is how should I put these pictures in? Tape, stick glue or staples? Because I hope that these pictures won't just drop out after a couple of months or even a year.

Double.stick.tape.

Would tape discolor your photos? Especially if it's non-archival, acidic tape.. might be something to look into.

I have never seen tape discolor a photo. Double stick tape is the way to go.
